Speech and Language Therapy

In addition to a full and varied curriculum, pupils at Leicester Therapeutic School can access specialist support services.  

We offer Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) as part of our statutory provision outlined in a child’s EHCP or through our targeted support if needs present.  We support our pupils navigate and understand their school environment, develop their independence, and grow in confidence.  

Speech and Language Therapy aims to improve functional communication skills for our young people. We have a dedicated calm and nurturing space for the therapy to take place with a member of our dedicated team.
