Our curriculum is designed to meet the diverse needs and interests of our students. From our challenging academic programs to our enriching activities, we offer a well-rounded education that provides students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in college and beyond.
Our curriculum is ambitious, exciting and engaging. It is carefully designed to build on prior learning, step by step so that pupils can grow their confidence in learning and their resilience in trying new skills. Our pupils will follow our bespoke curriculum and teachers will adapt lessons to meet their special educational needs.
At Leicester Therapeutic School we see reading as the foundation of all learning and as such, provide specialist support in phonics and the inclusion of reluctant readers. The LTS curriculum is enriched with activities that we believe all pupils should experience. This supports pupils with their learning and ensures Leicester Therapeutic School develops the whole child. These essential experiences provide the foundation for our personal development curriculum.
